Normally when one starts into perimenopause (menopause is when you haven't had a period for 12 months or more) periods become further apart. Along with the other issues, I'd see my gyno and get it checked out.

tracycar64: See your gyno and see if he'll do a hormone check on you and if he won't then go see an endocrinologist and ask him. It does sound like perimenopause. It's just a process you're going to have to go through, just like puberty. Try using some progesterone cream on your wrists before bedtime and see if that helps a little.

Sounds like the beginning of perimenopause to me also. My periods use to be very regular and then became closer together also. Now I have one about every 60 days. The facial hair, oh yes!! Lots of changes will start happening now. Just know that you're not alone in this and post with any questions that you might have. There are alot of smart ladies on these boards!
