| Generic Activella. Working for you?
Hi all.
Last year I was diagnosed with early menopause and put on Activella 0.5/0.1. It was great. I have to have my long term prescriptions filled by mail-order through my health care, so for the first four months, they sent me brand Activella.
Three months ago, they started sending me generic estrodiol/norethindrone by Breckinridge Pharmaceuticals. Within two months, I'm back to the hot flashes.
So, either I need to reevaluate my HRT completely, or there's a difference between Breckenridge and brand-name Activella.
Has anyone here had a problem with generic Activella versus the brand stuff? Because after four months on generic, I might as well not be taking HRT at all for all the good it's doing.
