I am writing in the hopes of helping my mother in law, she is almost 60 now and still having very heavy periods, so heavy she is afraid to even leave the house. She tells me there is alot of back pain too. She has been bleeding for months on end, and the doctor says there is nothing we can do but wait it out. He did have her on birthcontrol for awhile and that did help.
I cannot help but wonder are there no other options for help?
