Palpitations
I am a 59 year old woman who has been experiencing palpitations for the last 3 years, but have become increasingly longer with each episode. Is this normal? I become light headed during and after, feel totally drained. I have experienced them during the day and in the middle of the night. I can not ascertain the trigger for them. Would appreciate any information you can give me.

I would certainly think to get your palpitations checked out by your doctor.

I have suffered with Palpitations for many years and I have just turned 50. Mine were a combination of my very overactive thyroid and peri-menopause.

Since treating my thyroid and becoming underactive I still get palpitations but not as bad as before. I would really have bloodwork done so as to know what is going on.

Also other meds out there can help with the palps.
