 Frequent periods while taking BCP-perimenopause
I've been in perimenopause for 3 years and have continued to take a low-dose BCP. I hadn't had a real period to speak of in years, and lately I've been getting them nearly twice a month (with all the associated symptoms: PMS, heavy bleeding, cramping). I started my second period in two weeks a few days ago and I'm in the middle of a pill cycle. Should I continue to take the remainder of the pack or stop? I called my gyno's office and couldn't get a straight answer...they just want me to come in (I was just there 2 months ago for an annual). I'm not sure it's necessary that I go see the doctor for this, but I'm confused as to what to do. Anyone out there experienced this?
