Firstly im 50 years old and had peri-menopause and now menopause for about 5 years now.
Hi everyone Im really upset by my symptoms and have been for ages now. Im really upset because the symptoms just WONT go away at all!!
Im on HRT called Trysiquence. My doctor insists I take them because she is worried about me develping bone problems.
I have Graves Disease (overactive thyroid) - treated it with RAI (radiation) 18 months ago. I am now underactive and altho a lot beta, still have many symptoms from the thyroid and menopause.
My question is this: Does HRT cause monthly bleeding and pain to worsen?
What happened is that my periods stopped altogether and the worst symptoms I had was awful hot-flushes. Oh yes, powerful ones and day and night too.
Now on HRT it kick-started my periods and they are very painful, my BODY ACHES so so BADLY and periods are heavy too.
What the heck am I to do
Really, im so tired of it all. When will there be a change and will there eva be a change.
