| When do the horrible symptoms stop??
I am now 49 and the symptoms have not abated. Haven't had a period in a month but feel like I am going to any minute. Have backache, bloated feeling, all the normal feelings but so far nothing. My question is how long do you feel like your period is going to start after it stops for good? My doctor says after this is over I will go back to feeling like my normal self. I so hope that is true. A friend has not had a period (she is the same age as I) in a year and she says she still has all the symptoms of headaches, irritability, crying spells, aches and pains, anxiety, etc.
