Worry Wart

Lets see - I worry about my son - everything - getting hit by a car, doing well in school, etc. I worry about my job, about my health (thats a big one), about the size of the moon - hehe..

I have anxiety which I'm thinking goes hand in hand with worry.

Along with my myriad of symptoms during this time, I have noticed the worry thing has gotten a little worse.

Anyone else? Any ideas to ease it other than medication?

Thanks

Re: Worry Wart

my dad used to tell me i worried about not having anything to worry about! i am the original worrier and approaching menopause has only made it worse. i also have anxiety which i agree goes hand in hand with worry. after years and years of fighting these things naturally because i am a naturalist and don't believe in taking anything i don't have to, i finally gave in and started taking xanax for my anxiety and celexa for depression. i didn't think i was depressed but this med seems to help curtail my worrying as much. i still practice deep breathing and stretching and remember to take 15 min. a day just for you to be with you. good luck!
