Extreme Ovulation pain while on my period
I am in menopause and take Estrogen and Provera. I've been in menopause for a while, I quit having periods for about 9 months or so. My hotflashes and moodswings were off the charts and unbearable so after trying some natural remedies that didn't work for me, I went on hormones. I take 1 estrogen pill per day and then Provera for the first 12 days of the month. My Doctor told me that after the 12th day of taking the Provera to stop and then a few days after that I would have a period, which I did for quite awhile. Strangely though, the last 4 or 5 months or so I've been starting my period after taking the provera for just a couple days. Then it would be over in about 3 days and start again about 5 days later. So something isn't balanced with me and it's worrying me. I've had bad ovulation type pain on my right side all day and I'm on my period so something is off with my hormones. The pain is excruciating and it hurts in my lower rt side back, all down my rt leg and my rt hip. Has anyone had this happen to them, having periods when they shouldn't and having severe pain that feels like ovulation pain while on their period?
