HRT: How soon relief
Hi all. I began HRT (estrogen/progesterin pill) about four days ago and today I feel my mood lifting...like better than I've felt in a year and a half. Still having hot flashes but I feel so much happier today and have more energy than I've had in weeks. Brain seems more focused. Is it possible to realize some level of relief this soon? I have felt so lousy for such a long time. I'm taking a low dosage of a prempro generic. Would appreciate any input or shared experiences.

I went from BCP to HRT but when they first adjusted my BCP due to peri symptoms, all symptoms were gone in 2 weeks time!

Thanks for the response. I am hoping and praying this is a permanent change for the good. I have felt completely lousy for over a year.
