| discharge in perimenopause
I am 56 and still having periods although they finally are getting farther apart in occurance. It has been 44 days since the last one and I was feeling like I could be starting again the last few days. There hasn't been any bleeding, but a very dark, black discharge instead. Minimual amount. Is this a normal ending to years of periods? Anyone else experience this? I have had menopausal symptoms and was tested. From those results I started using bioidentical HRT and the cream has relieved the anxiety I was experiencing. Just not sure about this dark discharge as up to this point I have had "normal periods".
