Hi, new here, I've looked through some messages but didn't find the exact thing I'm searching for, hope someone can help?
I'm 38 and the past year was experiencing hot flashes/insomnia..went to my obgyn who did some blood work, ultrasound, told me my bw was normal and my ultrasounds looked good.
I have had PCOS diagnosed when I was about 19 and have been on bcp since in order to get my periods, dr wanted me off of those due to my age and bp issues, so did that. Started to have these symptoms and so he gave me a rx of premarin to help. It seems to have, the hot flashes are under control and I'm sleeping again.
I had my first spontaneous bleed in 8 months last month, was only spotting for a day or two and then 2 weeks later started bleeding again heavily this time and that lasted 9 heavy days, now not even 2 weeks later again i'm bleeding. Is this normal with taking this med?
