abcwangfoo Senior Member (female) Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: Newport NC. Posts: 101	Post menopause&tampon Last Dec,had spotting,out of no where,scared me.I,put tampon in(not far) and it had red on it.I,had utra sound done,cervix is closed.Ovarives,look ok.Getting;D&C in 2 wks. My question;stupid as it is: spotting should be from vagina,so why is Dr checking for cervix& other ??? Pat
