FSH levels and menopause Hi Does anyone know what FSH levels indicate that you have reached the menopause? In 2006 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was put on Tamoxifen for five years. In 2011 I had completed my five years of treatment and was taken off Tamoxifen. Before I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was having normal periods albeit very light ones - this was in 2006 when I was 50. I did not have any periods while I was on Tamoxifen and came off it in 2011. Now in 2012 at aged 56 I am still not having periods and my doctor took some blood to see if I had reached the menopause. I want to be ready when the results come in so if any one knows what FSH levels indicate the menopause I would be very grateful. Thanks for your help.:) |
