Newbie - Info needed

I hope some of you can shed light on this.

All my life I had irregular periods, but approx 5-6 years ago, they started getting regular - 28 days on the dot. Now I can go 3-4 months without a period, but it seems that even though my period is not showing up, I have all the PMS signs, ie., breast tenderness, bloating, irritability, etc., every month. Do any of you experience this as well? I do not take any supplement as I am mostly symptom free.

I am 51 years old.

thanks for all your help.

J.

Hi there Granny, I would get some tests done to see what hormones are lacking and what you have too much of then you can supplement and take your pms away totally. Good luck xxx

hi granny. I usually have a period about every 3 or 4 months, sometimes i'll have one a month later. I'm pretty much all over the map with my periods. Sometimes it's a normal period, sometimes just some light spotting. I do not take HRT as the only symptoms I have now are hot flashes and night sweats, and they are tolerable. I sometimes get p.m.s. symptoms but don't get a period. My p.m.s symptoms can last anywhere from a few days to a week. That is my "normal".
