Soreness in Right Testicle
I have had soreness in my right testicle for a little over a month now. I went to see my GP about 4 weeks ago and he examined me and diagnosed a prostate infection, and thought the soreness in my testicle may be due to that (i.e., radiating to the testicle or even infecting the testicle). He put me on Cipro, but I have not seen much relief.
I was diagnosed (by a urologist in my previous home town) with a stone in my prostate (10cm in dia.) about 15 years ago, and live in some discomort (lower back soreness sometimes, etc.) because of this. The urologist said the cure would be worse than the discomfort. The testicle soreness is new. It is not a large pain, but just something that you notice when you are walking, etc. Both testicles are normal in size, shape, firmness, and there are no lumps or bumps.
The soreness went away about a week ago, and I thought I was well, but it has come back. I have another appointment in a week, and I'm pretty sure I will see a uriologist after that.
I wonder if anyone had a similar situation. Thanks
