Sore, swollen testicle cord? - Men's Health Message Board

Hello

I have had a tender, swollen left testicle cord for a number of years. I was also diagnosed with a vericocele. Most of the tenderness/soreness is in the part of the cord that goes up into my abdomen. I can even feel the cord under the surface of the groin skin where it goes up into my abdomen because it is swollen. Sometimes I get a sharp "pinching" or aching pain up in there and it can go from my abdomen all the way down to the bottom of my left foot.

When I take a walk it will often get worse and I have to cut my walk short. I was also told by at least one doctor that it feels like I have some "fat" up there. I had a whole bunch of tests (5 ultrasounds, MRI's w/contrast, etc) and they ruled out cancer so I'm at a loss and feel like I'm the only one on earth who has these symptoms because when I've brought it up to other people they just give me this look or won't answer my post. Gosh, I sure hope some of you can give me an opinion on this so I won't have to feel alone anymore. Even a "group hug" would be nice if nothing else

Hi again

I don't mean to be pushy but I'm suprized that it has been three days now since I posted this and I still hav'nt gotten a response and yet I see posts from people who are desparate for a "longer, thicker penis" getting LOTS of responses. Priorities?.

I personally don't see why having the fattest, longest, hugest penis on earth is all the rage these days anyway (unless your planning on having an elephant for a girlfriend or trying for the "penis of the year" award). I think most folks should be content with what God gave them IMHO.

To each his or her own I guess and that's all fine but is'nt there anyone at all here besides myself who has a swollen, aching cord?. I am really concerned about this and would be interested to hear from others with a similar problem or at least those who are familiar with thye condition itself...anyone??.

Hi,

If you have varicocele than it is reason of your pain. You should consider the surgery. But surgery cannot give 100% guarantee that pain will go on. I had similar pain what you described but it did not bother me so often. I had surgery 3 years ago. After that the pain comes back sometimes also . Other think what you should worry is that varicocele can affect the quality of your sperm.
