red bumps after shaving my pubes...when will the madness stop?

i've been shaving my pubes for a while now. still, i continue to get the itchy red bumps in my pubic area from shaving. do these ever stop? i thought maybe my skin would eventually get used to the shaving. i don't understand...

Re: red bumps after shaving my pubes...when will the madness stop?

1. Take 15-20 minute shower prior to shaving

2. Exfoliate before shaving

3. Use a new 3 blade razor

4. Use womens shaving gel (with lots of lubricants)

5. Shave with the grain first

6. Change blade

7. Shave against the grain ONLY while holding the skin tight

8. Rinse well, and use a moisturizer afterwards.

9. Throw blade away.

*tip* Continue to exfoliate area in shower even when not shaving. Keep the area clean, too!

This has worked for me for a long, long time. Hope this helps!
