Shaving pubic area

Okay, I think at one point or another, some people think of shaving their public area entirely (the shaft, balls, and all!), well my questions are: isn't this unconfortable?, why is this to be done? (I see no health benefit!), how is it done (I think it would be hard to do with a razor, waxing would hurt like hell, and I am thinking that a product like nair would burn really bad), and how long does it last until you have to do it again? Thanks you all!

Roxcyn, let me assure you that there are plenty of us who have never at any time considered shaving their entire pubic area! The thought of taking a razor blade anywhere near my penis & testicles gives me a shiver & a shake & a shudder! I agree with all your questions. There definitely are guys who do this, no question, & probably one or more participants in this board will write in here, in response to your question. There certainly is nothing wrong with doing it, needless to say. But to keep things in perspective, I will tell you that I personally have never ever seen a single solitary guy with his pubic hair shaved off -- not in school locker rooms, pool dressing rooms, etc. It really is NOT that common a practice!

Incidentally, I took the liberty above of correcting your typo in your post title & your msg quoted above. An "L" crept in, turning "pubic" somewhat humorously into "public" ! If you want, you can easily go in & edit your post to make a correction! Or leave it -- who cares?!! Maybe that's what gave the previous post-er his chuckles!

Re: Shaving public area

I don't know about other men but my boyfriend will occasionally shave all of his pubic hair off. I am trying to get him to have it waxed as it lasts longer . (Shaving and depilatory cream don't last very long and it comes back pricklier than waxing)

I think one of the reasons he does it is b/c I get mine all waxed off and he really likes it on me. It's all about personal preference. Many women think I'm nuts for being waxed but I like it that way. And I like my b/f like that too.

He normally uses depilatory cream instead of a razor though as it can get a little scary on the balls It doesn't seem to burn him but it may on other people.

Now thats a good girl

I shave, but NOT my shaft or balls. It's to damn scary and risky!!!

Although i havn't shaved for a couple months. I think i will move to waxing soon.

For me i like shaviung b/c that it makes my size visually bigger and it looks a lot claner and nicer. It sorda boosts the confidence in me, ya know?

Please read my previous post, I said "think..." not do. There are some people who think about doing it, but never do it, and I was asking the people who do it...opps for my spelling error it's corrected now
