Ok, I am 21, uncut and nobody ever told me anything about stretching, I have been sexually active since I was 18. Pulling the skin all the way down has never been a major problem. I have become more sexually active than I use to be and I have gotten to where the skin splits at the very top, from prolonged sexual intercourse I think. I have been drinking a lot more water and ever used neosporin, and lotion on it, Blistex has been helpful too when just trying to get healed, but now I can't have sex without splitting the skin. It doesn't bleed or anything, just like a split thumb, very very painful, so when I urinate and such it burns like hell, on the splits if it gets on it. It breaks the scab or where its healing if I get aroused enough. Is this happening because I should have been stretching? Please respond, its extremely uncomfortable and it seems outta place to talk to my parents about it, and I don't have a personal doctor. Thanks
Is this splitting where the frenulum meets your foreskin? If so, this is pretty common as the frenulum can tear or be irritated pretty easily during intercourse, especially if it is prolonged or happens frequently. I'd say the best thing is to try neosporin on it to help with healing. Unfortunately you'll have to lay off of masturbation and sex until it heals a bit or you'll keep tearing it a bit. I'd say it may be caused by lack of stretching but more likely its not as it sounds as though you've always had pretty good retraction of your foreskin. If you're not using condoms they may help here because the extra layer of latex would prevent so much friction/irritation to the area. Hope this helps, feel free to drop another line back and I'll see if I may be able to help more!
if it's not the frenulum, you really need to see a doctor. even if you've been stretching, that is not normal, and might be the sign of an infection, or BXO. If it is the frenulum, that's not unusual. It just needs a long rest, as Lance said, or it will keep tearing, until it is fully healed.
Its not the frenulum, or bxo, its the actual tip of the forskin, where it rolls down over the head it stretches it to where it splits down the sides after prologed stretching, and yes, wearing a condom is helpful.
