Pumping iron. (not really)

Anyway, I was thinking on bulking up some. I dont want to become like arnold is but just plump my arms and chest up some. I do pushups now and then it seems to work...slowly... but is there anything i can start eating or something? i dont really feel like doing all that in the gym and was wondering if theres any home recipes you guys would like to share?

Sorry bro but the only way to add muscle is to challenge that muscle so it has to grow bigger to handle the stress, so you have to place some resistance on the muscle (weights) and eat good, 80% of your results will come from your diet

80%... I don't know about that.... if you just want to tone up then you want to do about 9-10 reps on weights which are medium resistance to you. The muscle will only grow once you actually 'tear' it apart and then it recovers, you have to sort of almost injure yourself. If you want to add lots of muscle then you want to be doing low reps.. as low as 3 or 4, at maximum resistance.

you should be eating at least yiour body weight amount of protein a day. so if you weigh 150 lbs you should be eating at least 150g of protein a day.

I actually read that you should eat between 1-2 grams of protein for every 2.2 pounds you weigh in one of my weight lifting magazines. 1.5-2 is best if you want to seriously gain more.
