frenulum tenderness

Hi. I have a question. My boyfriend and I have a very active sex life. He orgasms at least once daily. When our relationship started oral was a main factor, and I have my tongue pierced which provides extra stimulation. We encountered no problems. About 3 weeks after sexual intercourse became more dominant he started having increased tenderness, sensitivity and pain in the frenulum. (Now as far as I know its the Y shaped thing that connects the foreskin to the shaft...if thats not what its called, thats what im talking about.) When he told me about the pain, we stopped any stimulation in order to let it heal. He thought it had completely healed but it came back soon after. How long will this tenderness take to go away, and is this something we should be concerned about? Furthermore, is this a case where "stretching" of the foreskin would prevent the sensitivity. We are both very sexual people and it is quite trying to have to hold that part of our relationship while he heals. Any advice or even telling me what it is would be great. Thanks.

Poiyt

Re: frenulum tenderness

It sounds like there may not be enough lubrication. If there is insufficient lubrication then there will be friction on the frenulum and could stretch it and even tear it. I have had my tear in small tears. It should heal very quickly in a day or two. Try using more lubrication and see if it solves the problem.

Re: frenulum tenderness

I don't know how long he will take to heal. I only know that when I had this problem, if I used my penis before it was healed, it would tear again. Better to let too much time go by, than not enough. Otherwise, it will just tear again. I would give it a day or two past the time when he says he is ready again.
My problem, once it went away, never reocurred.
