About a week ago I found a lump on my boyfriend's penis. It's located on the underside of the shaft where it rubs against the scrotum. It was about the size of a black bean and was solid. It seemed like a cyst to me and from what we could find that seemed like a logical answer. We're both clean and have been tested so we're almost positive it's not an std. Last thursday he was looking at it and it popped and he said a white, kind of liquidy 'pus' came out. Then today it popped again. It's almost like...a really large white head or something. I'm not sure. We were thinking sebaceous cyst...but the pus was liquidy...not solid/cheesy looking. [according to what he told me..I didn't see the pus] Has anyone ever had something like this happen to them or know what it could be? He's gunna go to the doc to have it looked at but I'm just looking for a quick response for any thoughts about this... lump!
Yes, I have and it was just an ingrown hair. Men do get those from time to time. Sometimes just a pimple as all.
I've alway just use a bit of alcohol on a swab to keep it clean and then a bit of vaseline so it won't itche. After a few days it healed, saving me a doctors bill in the mail. Good luck!
Yes, it is more than likely a Sebaceous cyst. I had almost the exact same thing in the exact same location. I was too shy to go to the doctor, so I coped with it for a long time when it was still small and painless. Then one day I noticed it had grown much larger and became extremely tender. It just popped one night when i was laying in bed and it discharged a white liquidy substance (sebum) mixed with Blood plasma. After it "popped" it went away and i've never had a problem since. It was scary, but nothing life threatening. Anti biotics is probably what the doctor will suggest. You can also try Collidal Silver (a natural antibiotic) sold at most vitamin/health food stores. If you can find that, use it topically and liberally at bed time and it should help it if it is infected. If it is painless, I wouldn't worry about it unless it is something he wants to get rid of for cosmetic reasons for it is not a health concern at all. They are very common. No worries
