Arrow Question about veins.. testical and other stuff..

Alrightie, first off SORRY for any errors i made in the title, Um okay.. first time posting on a health forum thing..

my right testical been swollen for close to 7 years i think.. maybe 5 dont really remember however i know its been a long time.. and well i feel no pain, unless i masterbate alot. and well im 18 and i kinda got freaked out after watching a health thing on TV [discovery health, wee!] and they were talking about cancer and stuff, and me being the freaking worryer i went to the doc, he told me it was a large hydrocyle. and to see what action to take next i was sent to see another doc, a surgen. Well i saw him and he told me he thinks thats what i have and also a minor hernia, and we both agreyed to watch it since it rarely gave me pain, to be truthful i rarely feel anything, unless someone kicks me or squeezes me, heh.. bad bad memmeries.. -shudders- Now the question i have is.. this, i feel many viens in that same testical that has the hydrcelle, and sometimes they tend to clump togeather, all i have to do is roll the mess of veins around and there all well veiny again. i did a experament on my self and felt my pulse while feeling the veins and i could feel my heart beat thrue these veins.

I feel no lumps, but there are some veins that are very senceative if i squeez them. when i sleep or lay down the veins and the hydrocelle poof, and its like i have a normal testie. untel i walk around then slowly it comes back. i asked the docture about the veins and he did not seem worryed about it.

i did some searching around and i kinda think i may have that variecyle or whatever its called, were veins become dilated and what not. but can that happen with a hydrcelle?

I was scared for awhile that it was cancer but after the doc looked at me he did not mention anything about it or anything about ultra sounds or other tests, jsut that i need to watch it and go back in if it gets larger or very painful.

Do i need to worry? I do plan on getting this thing repaired but next year since i till have my GED and other things that must get done soon.

I had this for quite a few years. and it never gave me any probs. My dad has a hydrcelle and he seen a specest and he was told that he had nothing to worry about.

I dont think its cancer my self.. but i just wanted to know if its normal for veins to be in a hydrcyle. like i sead it all poofs when i lay down and sleep.

And before anyone starts throwing there grammer books and spelling corrections, I have issiues with spelling and grammer, err its hard to explane but i cant spell everything right and my grammer is abit shakie. I blame the school to be truthful LOL but yeah if anyone has any idea of what i just sead above please share some info! i swear my mom is going to smack me pretty soon for worrying to much.

Re: Question about veins.. testical and other stuff..

Tim,

If you can't trust the opinions of two doctors, the only other alternative is to continue doing exactly what you're doing now, worrying yourself to death.

You choose what to do. A medical doctor wouldn't steer you wrong. Forget it and go on with life.

It will be OK.

Best regards,

-h

Like Hairer Yet said, stop worrying! As for the veins, I have them, so does a lot of guys. They do feel freaky! but that's normal. Like yourself, when I was y o ur age, I went to the doctor, and I found out all was well. Some of us have more veins that others. I was told like you, just to come back if I had any problems. I can't speak on your other problem with the swelling, but as long as you're not having any problem, you should focus on something else.
Good luck!

Re: Question about veins.. testical and other stuff..

Thanks guys for the reply! the swealing as i sead i was told is the hydrlecyle, a pouch of wateriry fluied. If the veins are normal and other guys have them then hey nothing to worry about ^-^ just stick to my normal plan of getting it repaired in the comming year. thanks again for all replys as this helped greatly, in truth i though i was the only guy that had odd veins down there. that was all i was worryed about was the veins Lol. things like.. is it cancer? wait no lumps or anything.. cant be.. and nothing about veins and cancer came up.. then it was could it be a variecyle.. Hmm maybe.. AH so i had to find out if it is normal for veins to be felt down there, sometimes they do feel odd. other times they feel like normal veins. they clump togeather then break apart after pressing. some times lumpy but the lumps sometimes poof when pressed. I did a light test on my self just as the doc did on me and the entire thing turn red, it glowed.. Witch hydrocyles do. and i moved some of these veins to there and seen nothing. it just glowed red.

anyways thanks again =) my mind is already on other things ^^
