aches and pains in the insides of the groin which then radiate

Right well, where do i start
Im 16 years old and male.
In February this year i weighed 13 St , and decided to lose it.In 4 months i was down to 10 St , through alot of running. But when i was running i sustained a Groin Strain and started to get Ball Ache. I immediately did some research and found out that ball ache is a symton of groin strain. But i checked my testicles and found nothing apart from the Epidymis(Sp) at the backs, i was worried when i found them but i later found out they were normal

So after a few months of having groin strain i was still running and still having ball aches, i know i should of stopped and rested but i didnt. I eventually went to the docters when it completly went in a football match, he told me to rest for 6 weeks and it should be fine. He also did a Blood Test just to be sure as i told him about some stomach pains i had ( But i forgot about the ball ache) The results showed nothing untoward.
But due to me being a fool , i was back playing footy in 3 weeks and it went again, and since then i havent really rested my groins and still hurt( i occasionally get ball ache now but no where near as many times as before).

But now im starting to get aches and pains in the insides of the groin which then radiates into the lower abdomen as a result. I think this is due to the groins.

But one day i was just feeling the abdomen and at the sides next to the groind i felt a small thing, ( there are one , on each side , Right and left) I just want to know are these things normal??

PLease help me clear all this up

Re: aches and pains in the insides of the groin which then radiate

You have developed trigger points in the adductor muscles. These muscles are located on the inside of the thigh from the knee to the groin. The pain is intense and frightening but nothing to be scared of. You must follow the doctor's instruction to rest because if you don't it's just going to get worse and you could do some real damage to the tendon where the muscle attaches in the groin.

It's very unlikely and very rare but in a worst case scenario really bad accident you could if you injured it severely enough playing ball to actually tear the muscle off the bone and it would roll up inside your leg down by the knee! Then you need surgery to re-attach it.

Well, I don't mean to scare you. That's not going to happen. But, seriously, you need to rest like the doc said. When you recover you need to learn some stretching exercise. Active Isolated Stretching is a truly awesome modern stretching method. And then ask around to see if there are any really good sports massage therapists in you area. Scrape up the money and go in to see the guy. He'll know what to do to get you back in the game ASAP.

So the ball ache and these lumps in the picture are nothing to ne worried about ?

Also i wasnt allowed to put a picture in , the picture was basically showing where the lumps are.
So i hope that you understand where they are, basically just around where pubic hair is!

You still need to be worried enough to comply with the doctor's instructions to rest and to then follow up with proper exercise to care for your muscles. Only a doctor can tell you what the lumps are. If they are on both sides in the same place then it's probably just a normal part of the anatomy. Ask the doctor.

But doesnt that contradict the idea that the lumps are trigger points.?

I really need to show a picture to make sure that you know where these lumps are.
