Husband might have low sperm count

Hello guys, I need your help on something related to my husband. Last week he was tested to see if he had a low sperm count and to test the quality of his sperm. We will not get the test results until next week so he's very nervous and upset. I just want to know from a male's point of view, how should we deal with the situation in case the results show he has a problem? What should I tell him to make him feel better? Also what types of treatment can he expect? I'm hopeful that everything will be fine but I want to be prepared for the worse. He's a good man and I hate to see him going through this.
Thanks for your help.

it is a blow to the male ego, makes you feel like your less of a man. But, nowadays there are other ways to have children. he may have to take shots to temporaily (Ididnt' spell that right) raise his levels (this doesn't all ways work) Most insurance does not cover this type of stuff. he ahs to be injected several times a week. Artificial insemination is the other alternative. ( a buddy ahd to go this route after the shots didnt' work)

The only thing you can do to help him over it is to reassure him he is still a man. now how you do that is really how your husband is.. what builds his ego up. ITs not an easy thing to find out you can't father children.

Re: Husband might have low sperm count

Many of us here have low testosterone and so the feeling would be similar as far as masculinity goes. All you can do is reassure him that you are behind him all the way no matter what the results are. There are treatments. He could try clomid (a pill) or HCG or even HMG injections. If you give HCG to yourself it is really pretty cheap.
