I was circumcised on the 29th because I had a very bad phimosis, I am 15 btw. These past days have been so horrible and painful you can't even imagine. The surgeon said by Monday i would be back to school but I can't even put on any underwear because my penis head is way too sensitive. I'm scared because some people say this lasts their whole lives and they never get used to something rubbing against the tip.

I have also heard that this usually goes away in 2 weeks so I am hoping for that. I can't take the pain of the tip touching clothes as it really really burns.

Anybody heard of this before and are there any ways for me to feel less sensitive?

Well I don't really know if this applies to older guys, but I do have two sons both who have been circumcised-as infants. To help with their discomfort this is what their doctor said to do. Use plain petroleum jelly(vaseline) and liberally apply all over the the head of the penis. Then gently cover it with sterile gauze pads to protect it from any rubbing/chafing. I don't know if this will help you but it would be easy enough to try. Also maybe some Advil? Good luck.

i seriously have been naked for the past 4 days not being able to do anything, worst thing thats ever happened to me and i dont think ill be able to take a gauze pad on the tip.

All adult males that went through a circumcision will experience this irritation. Some more intense than others. Best you can do is to wear more tight underwear and not loose boxers. So not much you can do. The irritation will slowly get less and less and soon you will be ok. Good luck, soon you will be smiling.

The vaseline and gauze was a great suggestion! That is, if you don't want to walk around naked all the time. which is not a bad idea if you have plenty of privacy..lol..
Hey, give it a try! The vaseline acts as a coating to protect your penis from iritation, and it will take away some of the sensativity, and it being wrapped in gauze, keeps it safe. Just think, if it will keep a kicking infant comfortable, it will surely help a growing teen out that does not kick. have a speedy recovery...:>....
