Phimosis - please help!

Hello all, I'm new here, and wanted to start off by saying how much this forum has helped me along the way so far! I wish I'd found out about it earlier, but now, on to my question.

I discovered I had phimosis about a month ago. Started stretching for a week, to the point of a little bit of pain (I know that wasn't smart, but I hadn't done enough research yet...). Eventually, my foreskin began to ache, so I stopped stretching, and this developed into a nice thrush infection. The infection cleared up, and after two weeks, I have resumed stretching off and on for the past week or so. Recently (about 3 or 4 days ago) I noticed that the tight part of my foreskin started to develop these little divets on top, similar to if someone had made tiny cuts with a small scalpel. There are about 5 of these, that radiate outwards like the spokes on a wheel base. The largest is under 2 mm long.

My question is, should I stop stretching, and hope this clears up? Currently, they do not hurt when I stretch, and they have never bled or appeared to be open in any way, shape or form. There are lots of smaller ones, too (resembling wrinkles) that disappear temporarily when I stretch my foreskin, or get it wet. (Could this just be dry skin, then?)

Anyways, sorry to be so long winded, but I wanted to be as accurate as possible in my description of the issue. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you for your time.

Re: Phimosis - please help!

HI Rob

I have phimosis and been stretching now for around 5months have seen a modest improvement to say the least.Don't think im an expert on phimosis at all but I have been following advice from forum & stretching methods on here diligently. You say that you have tiny cuts,I would suggest you get some lubricant such as vaseline intensive care hand and body lotion or nivea cream to maybe help heal skin.It sounds like you mite be overdoing it with stretching techniques.I'd say take it more slowly and you will get results I know its annoying and you just want to like sort this as fast like.I find works best for me when I first started was to have hot bath 20 mins before and then do stretching say 5 x repititions of certain method holding each one for 2mins.Then another stretching method for 5x repititions of 2mins.Also I use baby oil lotion as a lubricant which helps me alot. And just do 5x method & 5x other method each day to start off with. Then monitor your progress after couple weeks then increase to say twice a day once in morning & evening etc or what best suits you depending on your progress.Hope this may help you a bit,I'd say leave of stretching for a few weeks if the cuts on your skin seem bad enough and use a lotion each day and see how you get on.Try and read as many posts on here on phimosis as you can and apply the phimosis stretching methods from forum they do work, just take your time.

Regards
naveed
