Rash on Forskin

This is kinda embarasing to talk about, but it's a lot easier to do here. I really don't want to go to a doctor unless I have to. I'm uncircumsized and have a very small penis. I say that not to be graphic, but to fully explain my condition. I hope this post isn't deleted and someone can help. I'm very obese also. The forskin on my penis is very red like a bad rash. I've tried doing a google search and can't really find anything.

Everyone's first response might be it could be an STD. I'm truthfull when I say I haven't been sexually active for almost 11 years now. I was only with one woman. I haven't been tested, but she was a few years ago when she got married and she told me she didn't have anything. So, I'm pretty sure it's not that and I'm pretty sure if it was it would take 11 years to show up.

Next thought could be irritation from masturbation. Yes, I do that but it had been a couple of weeks ago when this rash showed up. My next thought was I could have caught something from a toilet seat somewhere. I'll be very upset if this is the case.

Anyway, it's a rash that somewhat resembles a heat rash, and burns. I know, my penis forskin burns really sounds bad but I just can't believe it's an STD. I'm not sure how else to describe it. Can anyone tell me what it is and how to get rid of it? Going to the doc and showing him this is something I would like to avoid if I could.

Re: Rash on Forskin

It could be a yeast infection, especially if the abdominal fat pad covers the top of the penis. This is worth a trip to the doctor, to see why it is occurring.
If that's what it is, it is easily treatable.

Re: Rash on Forskin

I asked my mother about it. She's been a nurse for 20 years but she's not really sure either and I wasn't going to show her. She said it was probably a yeast infection and it would take a little time to go away. Her advice is to wash with soap and water several times a day and use some anti fungal cream. Wait a few days and then go to a doctor if it's not better. Not so sure about that. The washing hurts so bad I usually have to try and sleep for a couple of hours till the pain and burning stops. Even though it's embarassing I think I'll probably have to go see a doctor in the next day or two. I've never been so glad to not be sexually active. If this was 10 years ago I would be very worried.
