A "Leaky Penis"

My husband wouldn't ever visit a message board to ask a question like this...so I am gonna do it for him... He complains to me sometimes that after he goes to the bathroom, he has problems with urine still dripping or leaking out of his penis into his pants, and it urks the heck out of him. He tells me that he wipes until everything is dry, but then when he stands up or starts to move around, it leaks...Has anyone out there had a similar experience? Does anyone have any idea what this could be related to? I would appreciate any comments. Thanks!

Re: A "Leaky Penis"

This is a normal occurence. I am 82 years old and it still happens. I posed the same question earlier - suggested solution provided to me - lift the scrotum and "milk" the remaining urine toward the head and out. I find that it helps a lot.

Re: A "Leaky Penis"

if un circumsised, pull foreskin back slightly while 'peeing' and when finsihed throughly shake all drops and whatevers left, usually works, theres always a few drips after anyways, nothing to worry about.

Re: A "Leaky Penis"

Yes I know exactly his frustration as I have known many older males(and some younger) that have that. Many men are helped with a surgical procedure called a TURP (Transurethral resection of the prostate...TURP)(do an online search). He would have to go to an Urologist for help...if he doesn't go nothing will change...it does not go away. I'm sorry it isn't the most pleasant of operations but it is more annoying to be always dripping. good luck.
