3 and a half months ago I had risky behavior with a friend of mine. Of course the first thing I was concerned about were STDs. I talked with her about her history and mine.
No sexual contact with anyone in the previous 7 months. Was in a long term relationship for 4 and a half years.
Never had any problems down there.
Still does not have any problems down there.
She went to a health clinic and was tested for any and everything. Came back all clear, I double checked with her and had her reassure me that she was checked for multiple STDs and had not had sex in the last months.
No sex in the last year
Been tested fully tested for blood pathogens and urine tested for bacterial. No problems there.
Have been examined by a dermatologist and was informed about my fordyce spots. But she only looked briefly...you have to really look for this blackhead its pretty small.
I have no idea how long this has been there but a small blackhead has appeared towards the base of my penis......is smaller than a grain of sand, does not hurt or discharge anything...it also is not raised...(dont ask me how I even saw it haha) been stressed out for over 3months since the event happened. its been there for about a week and has not grown in size.
I am going to make a doctors appointment to get it looked at but was hoping for a general opinion (not a diagnosis) here to maybe help ease my mind or stress me out even more......
Lastly, If it is possibly a blackhead can they last for a long time? Or the longer it stays there the more i should worry?
I wouldn't worry about it, or go make a special trip to a doctor. Black heads, if thats what it is sometimes take months to go away, if they ever do! It could be an ingrown hair. we have hair bumps that never sprout so to speak.lol.. The pumps/black heads are harmless, so don't worry.
Well thanks for the advice, its a relief to find a place to be able to talk about this and not feel so different from other people! WIth that said, it really makes me feel better to hear they can take months to go away, if it grows in size or notice a change ill make a doc appointment but until then ill try and forget about it...though thats always much easier said than done.
Hopefully I can help someone else out on these forums sometime soon
I had the same thing, it was a black spot about the size of a grain of sand. Two were a little bigger almost felt like a splinter, the other was small. My wife squeezed them a little and they popped like blackheads. Hurts a little on the squeeze so be gentle. I didn't go to the doctor, but after a little research I think they were blackheads, not an STD.
