In my mid teens now, never retracted before. I've read the stretching instructions and am doing this. It's getting better. But reading about para-phimosis has scared me a lot. I'm afraid to retract even when flaccid, it just scares me. I'm confident that physically, I can get it behind, but i'm just so scared about that happening.
Does anyone have any advice on how to de-sensitize the glans? Mine is very sensitive after 15 years of being covered.
Also, my younger brother, who is 12. He has a few mental problems. I just want to know if it's likely that he'd have this too? I fear for him is all.
search for paraphimosis, without the hyphen, under Men's Health. I wrote a really comprehensive answer there.
the hypersensitivity passes about 4-6 weeks after you can retract, and do retract regularly.
your brother may never have the problem. perhaps someone attempted to retract you before you were ready, and that's why you have phimosis. he may already be retracting...I was at 4. ask him, and take it from there.
Try not to be paranoid about paraphimosis. My instructions tell you what to do to get the foreskin forward again and it's unlikely anyway. Otherwise keep stretching with the two-finger method until you are sure the opening is wide enough.
Is it normal that, obviously when flaccid, under the foreskin is quite dry, so sometimes when I do the stretching exercise, then push it back, it's a little painful. I think this is because of when it's dry, and the sensitive glans. Does this sound normal?
Just tried doing it again and was there for about 4 seconds, then an erection randomly started forming. Pushing it back was harder, but got it back. That was a worry.
So. It's pretty difficult to get paraphimosisised? (hehe). I mean. I'm getting a fair way back whilst erect now, but don't want to go too close as, when flaccid at least, it kind of roll's over the last centimetre. Sorry about all the questions.
I'm scared of doing it now in case I get an erection whilst it is behind.
