| Growth Top of Urethra (Male)
I recently found a growth, which looks to be just at the top (penis end) of my urethra. If you imagine the anatomy of a penis this growth is at the bottom of the "split" as I look down. At first it looked like a drip of urine, but I noticed it is actually a growth just on the inside of the "split" and only pokes out about a MM. As far as I can see, it is only approx 2mm in side and is not painful yet.
It is neither hard nor soft really but about the same texture as the rest of my "bellend" (excuse my language, but I do not know the proper names, dont do this often!). It looks as if extra tissue is growing as opposed to any "spot" like lump so therefore I refer to it as a growth.
I have a Dr's appointment but what should I expect?? I've been so worried all day to the point of feeling physically sick and I don't really feel that comfortable talking to anyone about it, so this is my only port of call for a bit of advice about what it might be and what to expect tomorrow.
Thanks in advance, I really hope someone can help and ease my anxieties!
This seems like quite a common problem but its not been answered anywhere else on the internet, I think a couple of people have had biopsies (I think thats the right term anyway!) with these sorts of growth, but I guess that is something which could only happen at the hospital not at a GPs office??
