Testical or scrotum discomfort

For the past 2 weeks I have had some discomfort, its hard to pinpoint at times its seems like it is more in my left testical and at times it feels like its above the left testicle to the left of the shaft of the penis in the notch where it feels like the scrotum is conected. There are no lumps that I can detect anywhere, I looked for a hernia and lumps. At my job I do alot of lifting big and small loads. And at times alot of sitting and driving . When this all started was a couple days after lifting a heavy load. I had a very dull ache upon touching my left testicle. I then spent several hours for about 3 days straight plowing snow on a tractor. The tractor had chains on it so as the snow was plowed I was shaking and vibrating to the point where I could feel my scrotum and testicle shaking of the vibrating from the shaking of the tractor. At this time I remember thinking to myself I hope I dont make this feeling I been having worse I have always had blue veins noticable down below so not sure if it could be a varicele?. Now the strangest thing is that when I first get up in the mornings after sleeping there is hardly any discomfort present , but thru out the day it becomes more noticable even if I just dont lift. The feeling is hard to describe, at times its a dull ache kinda like if you ever had a bruise and presses it. and at times it fees like a dull sting in the pubis that comes and goes. Now this morning so far it is feeling a little better.Just noticable if i move a certain way but better than before.. I know its best to see a Dr. but untill then I need some experiences.

Re: Testical or scrotum discomfort

You could have a hernia, or a varicosel vein. I have a varicosel myself in my left testes.
I realized I had it in my early 20's. Something I've had all my life. If it's varicosel veins, your testicle/sack feels like it's full of worms/cords/extra veins. There is a dull pain you would get from time to time when sitting or standing. the pain goes and comes. If it's a minor case of varicosel, you won't have any problems, such as surgery needed, but if it's a serious case of varicosel, surgery would be needed to correct the problem. what ever your condition is, you should pay your doctor a visit to see for sure.

Re: Testical or scrotum discomfort

It do not feel like a sack of worms or extra weight, just a dull ache to sometimes a stinging sensation, at times more noticable after being up and around or when I am driving a long time or sitting . It is also more noticable when the skin on my sack is loose than when it tightens up.Also I have noticed that the more I mess with it the more noticable it gets. Again today seems a little better. I really think that heavy lift and then the shaking irritated something in there . I have a few veins that are more noticable than others in the area of the ache. I have no bulges or bumps that i know of or can find.

Re: Testical or scrotum discomfort

It sounds and could a hernia. A doctor/urologist will be able to tell you for sure. With the varicosele, the discomfort is, maybe once a week, sometimes longer. Of course I have a minor case, thank God! Well, let us know what you find out.

Describe the pain that you have when this flares up, with a hernia wouldnt the pain be constant rather than coming and going. I felt good today up until this evening when the ache started again. It lasted for a while and then left as fast as it came on. Today I felt better than since this thing started, before the ache was several times a day but today only once.
