I read on another board about using a dipilatory on pubic hair. I used one this past Saturday and have been in pain since especially on my testicles. Have been using some aloe cream hoping to ease the pain. Has gotten a little better. I can walk without to much pain. Don't try this to get rid of hair. Anybody got suggestions for relief of the pain. It is like a chemical burn. What a stupid thing to do! Rock, the Dumbutt

Rock, which hair remover did you use? The only one I would recommend is "Magic Powder." The rest are too harsh. There is a product out there called "Burn Free" that is excellent for what you describe. I had free samples of it from a trade show, so I don't know where you'd get it, but you could try the internet. Otherwise, get a pure aloe gel and apply that. Bummer!

Hey redfox, I saw that "magic powder" stuff at Safeway, but it said "Use only on face..." what about that?

Hi Dylon. It probably says that just becase they don't want any liability should someone have a reaction. However, I've used it on "sensitive" areas, and so have a bunch of my friends. None of them had any trouble. On the other hand, products like Nair caused rashes and/or burns on some of these same people. I think if you follow the directions, you'd be fine.
