After my husband finishes peeing he shakes it off and it dribbles in his pants after a few minutes is that a common problem? Does anyone know?

It's normal to have a tiny amount of urine left in the urethra, but I'm only talking about a couple of drops. Maybe your husband has weak PC muscles or some problem with his prostate gland. He can do Kegel exercises to strengthen the muscles. To rule out other problems, he should check with his doctor.

That's a sign of prostititis (hope I spelled that right). It's simply an inflammation of the prostate gland. Even if that's not what it is, he needs to get checked. It's not normal to be dribbling that long after urination.

The sphincter muscle the pinches the urethra muscle closed is about eight inches from the tip of your penis, so some urine is trapped in front of it. If a few shakes doesn't prevent your from dotting your trousers, you can use a technique called urethal milking.

Simply run your finger along the underside of your penis to force out any remaining liquid. A study in the British Journal of Urology found that this little trick reduced post-pee dribble by nearly 30 percent.

My boyfriend has this same issue....he comes out of the bathroom and there are droplets on his pants..I wonder if he is just lazy about shaking it right. I have been embarrassed when we are out places and this happens...I remember on one of our first dates, I saw it and wanted to die because I know others saw it too!
