I'm glad you found the board! I do this for lots of reasons. I'm a counselor in a school and have years of counseling experience on a variety of topics so I've had lots of different educational and training opportunities. I'm not an expert and alot of what I know, I've learned through others on this and other boards like it. I wish that when I was your age I had the chance to ask questions just like yours without having to be face to face! Also, there is SO much misinformation out there that it is good to try to correct some of it. This is gonna be a sorta long post because you raise so many issues. First...you DO belong here and nothing you are experiencing is not something we've all been through or dealt with before. You're 16 so naturally there is all sorts of stuff going on with your body and many of us have issues with stuff in our teens. I too hate the whole pee in public sorta thing, I never liked public restrooms or showers or any of that because I had so many concerns about my body. I'm uncut also, for years struggled with penis size, was overweight, not built like my peers, not an athlete, etc etc. I always felt someone was gonna look and tease me for any of those reasons. Over time this has gotten better and now I'm totally OK with all of that. But I had to realize that noone else at the urinal or shower cared about me or my penis....they had their own business to take care of! My tip here is to go there like you own the place and ignore anyone else there! The urinal/pee in public thing is actually pretty common, you'll notice many guys go into the stall even if its just to pee, so do that if you'd like. As for your being uncut and the foreskin thing. All penises are different, they are different sizes, colors, some cut and some uncut. Most girls really don't care about what your penis looks like or its size. They care about you and who you are as a man. If a girl ever teases you about your penis, she's really not worth the time and she certainly isn't girlfriend material. As for taking teasing in HS gym or locker rooms or with your buddies....that's a common thing and we just have to learn to deal with it and tease back. Remember, they are looking for a response, so not to respond decreases their fun! One bit of advice since you're uncut. Be sure to clean under that foreskin regularly, its a breeding ground for bacteria and all sorts of stuff and left unclean can lead to infections and such. Also, never deny yourself fun in life because of anything you've mentioned. Being a virgin is OK, it's your body so do with it as YOU please, not just what others say you should do. The main thing is to learn all you can about your body and how it works, become a man who treats girls with respect and your body with respect. Take care of the equipment....its the only set you'll ever have! Good luck and keep in touch with the board!
