Post penis tends to "lean/bend" to the left...?

Hi --

Over the past few months I've noticed that my penis is tending to lean or bend to the left... if flacid it kinda "falls" to the left, and if erect it seems to lean to the left and also seems to slightly be rotated (i.e. the head does not seem perfectly centered, a little twisted)...

I don't masturbate "a lot" (1-3 times a week perhaps) and I try to rotate between hands, since I thought maybe it was doing this due to me tugging at it at a certain angle for an extended period by using only my "better" hand. I also thought maybe it could be from shaking it after peeing - I realized I have always pulled my boxers low with my right hand and then shake it with my thumb at the right side of the base... which I was thinking might overstretch the skin on the right side over time, thus the tighter skin on the left side would pull the penis to the left).... anyhow those are my half-baked theories haha... I'm hoping someone can tell me what's actually going on, and how I can best reverse the problem.

Thanks!!

P.S. I also just noticed tonight a strange pimple on my scrotum below the base of the penis that appeared since yesterday (but its not a pimple it's bigger)... it's "in" the skin and not touching the testicals so I'm sure its not testicular cancer... does anyone know what this is? Thanks.

Its common for penises to have some bend, curvature or to hang one way or the other. As long as it works and you have no problems with too much curvature (very rare condition) I suspect you're fine. Has nothing to do with masturbation or how you handle it at all, just the way it is. Keep an eye on that "pimple" like thing you've found. It could be a pimple getting ready to develop...I've had those there and they hurt like heck! If it changes in size, shape, color or appears infected, then I'd see a doc to have it checked!

Mine bends/leans the exact same way. All normal - don't worry about it! It's not from masturbation at all.

My theory is that its from sleeping mostly on one side, especially during puberty. I usually sleep on my left side, and as my penis grew during puberty it grew while always hanging toward the left. That's my theory, and I'm sticking with it!

Cool I'm glad to know it's not serious ... I'm going to experiment though with using my other hand to shake when I pee, and maybe try stretching the skin on the left side (hm penis stretch.. interesting.. haha) and see if it changes anything.

The "growth" I mentioned on my scrotum hasn't seemed to get any better yet... how long do you think I should wait before seeing a doctor about it? Researching on the web I found that it "might" be a form of cyst that can possibily occur on the scrotum, and if so might have to be "lanced" (owwww).... I'm hoping its something treatable though and not some incurable thing (which is unlikely to be an STD or something - believe it or not I'm a virgin).

Thanks for the advice, and I'm hoping you might have more... this is the best health forum I've ever found... heh haven't found too many, but hey!

The way your penis is shaped, bends and lays has nothing to do with how you masturbate, shake it, or lay. It is completely normal. They take there own shape, and direction of travel. Just enjoy it, it can be a great asset when making love to your lover by being able to stimulate areas not stimulated by other penises.
