I am 15 years old and i masturbate about once a week. I dont really have that much feeling on the head of my penis, and it hurts when i rub my finger against it. (it feels like sandpaper.) It's also pretty dry. Its been like this for as long as I can remember, but lately my friends were saying stuff like "OH my god! The head of the penis is so like the best feeling when u rub it!" or stuff like that. It is not like that for me. Also when i ***, it hurts when i am stroking near the head, basically a very very sensitive feeling. ANYONE KNOW WHY THE HEAD OF MY PENIS IS MISSING FEELING?!

The sensitivity on the head provides the sensation.

Are you uncircumcised? I was circumcised at the age of 15 (I do not advocate it by the way; it is the worse thing you can do to your manhood). I am in my early 20s now. The reason why I ask is because when I was uncut, the sensitivity was extremely painful without lubricant. But, with lubricant, man, was it great. My advice: use lubrication.

When I lost my virginity to my then girlfriend at age 14 (she was 17), it felt good due to her lubricated, ahem, environment. Believe me, it's not pain. It's sensation.

PS. I regret losing my virginity so early; it was pretty dangerous, immature, and stupid. I urge all teen guys out there to hold out until they find the right girl.

I was circumcised at 33, I feel the doc botched it as I woke up with a ring of stiches around the entire head, head and part of the shaft is numb-huge mistake- does anybody know of a way to bring feeling back?

Yes I was circumsized when i was born.

Yeah I have the same problem...although the sensation returns somewhat every now and then for a bit. One other thing: Aside from lack of sexual sensation, it's also completely numb to cold. Have you had any other symptoms like headaches, just got over an infection, etc.? I've had this for over a year and still can't find a cause...
