Can someone please help I'm 21, For the last week under my foreskin it has become very itchy. With this also brings alot of skin that is flaking off. If I scratch/rub too much the skin breaks off leaving little cuts or cracks. When I get in the shower to wash it the dead skin peels off no problem, but when I go to get out and dry it, its very sensitive red and sore. When I pull back my foreskin for a while, the foreskin and the head of the penis dries out, and covers completely in dead white skin that flakes off. If i leave the skin covering the head, it gets all manky and yucky with moist dead skin that rubs off.

I have searched this site going back to 2001 to see if any one else has had this problem, but I can't seem to find it.

Does anyone know what this could be? If so how to remedy this? (I haven't changed soaps, diet nor had sex in a while. I still continue to masturbate daily)

Any ideas would be good :-)

Reevesy, it sounds like you may have a fungal infection. This is not terribly uncommon in uncircumcised men. Please get it checked out by a doctor who can prescribe an appropriate treatment after getting a diagnosis.

Do you have any other medical conditions?

Mike is right. You have a fungal infection. Fungus thrives in a moist friendly environment. Uncut men are usually spared this. Get overthecounter lotromin and apply twice daily. May take a month. I have been down that road and it is bothersome

Thanx guys I will do just that. It makes it alot less embarresing when you say it's fairly common, and that people have had this before.

im having exactly the same problem but i was circumsised as a child. same symptoms you describe. i dont want to alarm you but i had it b4 in 94/95 and it took ages to get rid of, just seemed to disapear as fast as it appeared but it has returned covering the exact area of my bell end as last time, doctors were puzzled. aint been to see one this time but im considering it as its gettin worse. i can send u a pic if u email me at slimgrip@removethishotmail.com and we can compair notes lol, i personally think mine is stress related
