Foreskin: How far should it retract?

Hi, I am not circumcized, and I have been wondering about this for some time... how far should the foreskin be able to retract when the penis is erect? (The 2 scenarios are for when my penis is flaccid/erect).

1) When flaccid, I can easily pull the foreskin back with no problems, and by pulling it back I mean having it smoothly stretched from the head to the base of the penis. When doing so tho, I can see the frenulum pulling the head and bending it downwards, and this is what I am wondering about mainly.

2) So I have no problems retracting the foreskin when its flaccid, but when erect its different. I have to manually slide it back behind the head, and usually it will just roll up over itself, and just sit behind the head, or even get tucked under. When in this position, I can feel the frenulum being pulled kinda tightly, and it has a whitish colour to it then, showing that it is being stretched.

So I guess my concern lies with the frenulum, and I am wondering how far it should let the foreskin retract. My thoughts and what I am thinking of is whether or not to get a frenuloplasty or something, because if the frenulum wasn't attached to the head, then I think I could retract the foreskin past the "half way point" (getting it to pull back past the point where it is bunched up behind the head, and actually have it start to unfold towards the base of the penis)/

Anyways, thanks in advance, and sorry for the long message. I guess Im wondering how far your frenulum should let your foreskin retract, and whether it should be pulled really tight when the skin is pulled behind the head.

It sounds perfectly normal. You may have a slightly tight frenulum that could benefit from some stretching, but that's about it. To stretch the frenulum, while erect, just pull the foreskin back as far as it will go until you just start getting pain, then hold it there for several minutes. Do this everyday for a few weeks to a month, and you should notice the frenulum stretching and the foreskin moving back more while erect.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

My foreskin completely retracts when erect. I never knew that it shouldn't or didn't in some guys. My disappears.

I agree with Focus. Although I would have said, stretch till it feels uncomfortable just before it gets actually painful, then hold it there for a while.
