Post Random Pain

Hey,

this could sound a bit wierd but wil try it anyway.

For a couple of days now i have had a pain in my penis and scrotum. Its not constant pain and it doesn't occur in the same place everytime. Also sometimes it hurts quite a bit other times its just like a dull ache.

I have felt it before, but it went away and then thought nothing of it until now when it has come back.

I have checked for lumps and there are none. It just occurs very randomly, i can't feel it when i sleep.

I sometimes get random pains in my leg or chest or anywhere. Is it possible that these are just nothing? Maybe they are growing pains, or maybe it is from stress as i am taking end of year exams at the moment. Or actually is it just normal and evryone has these random pains from time to time?

Any help or info would be appreciated, don't want to run off to the doctors straight away!

Went to the doc's about the pain/ache 2day. Reckons it could be pyschosymatic, which means that i'm creating the pain myself. This is likely as I went to my local GUM clinic a week ago to get some lumps on my penis checked out. They turned out to be PPP. Cause of this visit i may be thinking more about problems relating to my genitals.

There is no likelyhood of an STD as i haven't had sex. Similary, if it was a torsion of the testes (where a testicle can twist on its axis and cut off the blood) the pain would be immense! and its not.

Though it might not be an STD virus it is possible to get an infection from your own bacteria. The doctor says i should go back if there is still discomfort in a few days time. They can arrange for a specialist to have a look or for a scan of the testes.

This sounds REALLY like me. I have been to the doctors about five times, had urine tests etc etc and he felt my sides/back and said I was fine.

All urine tests came back clear. I have had a random feeling in one of my testicles, and it comes and goes, just an ache kinda, not even an ache, just a feeling. I done all of the checks, and found no lumps. One testicle is bigger than the other, and the big one has a larger tube running up the back than the other, though I think this is normal.

I have also just done exams, and I get random pains in my sides and back, and I keep having this feeling in my testicle. I keep looking at it to see if there are any signs of lumps but its never the case.

I think its all in my mind now, as I am always thinking about it maybe I am imagining all these pains with the stress of exams and worry about my testicles... its not real pain in my sides/back/lower abdomen, just random little pains, or aches.... this like you?

Yeah thats sounds a lot like me. I just seems to get random aches and pains all over every now and again.

Have never noticed until now that it may coincide with times when i am stressed.

I only really feel it when i think about it. For instance when i'm in the exam hall i think i don't feel it cause i'm concentraing so hard on the exam.

I'm going to probably wait until at least wednesday before going back to the doc's as my exams finish on tuesday and maybe i'll be a lot more relaxed and pain free after they are over.

My doctor did advise swimming as a possible way of getting rid of muscle ache, maybe that could help?
