Scared about discoloration penis glans - Men's Health Message Board

Hi, I am scared that i may have some serious case such as cancer or something because i have been reading on the internet about penile caner.

I am 21 years old and did not really wash underneath the foreskin because i did not know about retraction and washing under. I noticed about 2-3 months ago some dark discoloration on my penis glans. I think i saw this after my gf gave me oral sex. When she gave it to me, i think she sucked kinda hard and it hurt and i think the discoloration may be a bruise. It hasnt gone away in 2-3 months and i am scared. There are two spots of dark discoloration which are about 3cm X 3cm

I been to my GP and he says its nothing to be worried about because it doesnt look to be cancer. I am questioning if this could be cancer because i am not really sure if i got the discoloration after oral sex.

Please give me any input, it is greatly appreciated.

Its just natural discoloration of the glans. I'm circumcised, and I have a darker colored spot on the glans, that just appeared many years ago, and hasn't changed. Its normal. Penile cancer is extremely rare. You have a better chance of getting stuck by lightning than getting penile cancer. Seriously.

Are you sure the discoloration is not from your circumcision? because I am not circumsized.

Yes, I'm sure its not from the circumcision. The circumcision scar is on the shaft, below the glans. With the exception of being keratinized, the glans wouldn't have any markings from circumcision.
