 irritated foreskin - advice needed
I am uncircumsized, but have never had any problems with retracting the foreskin, and it sits behind the glans in preference. However within the folds of the skin here I have developed an irritating redness, that develops into patches of finely wrinkled and dry skin that is tender to touch. Have seen the doctor twice, and was prescribed Clotrimazole for a possible fungal infection, that didn't work at all. Hydrocortizone 0.5% was prescribed second time round, and it helps slightly but he irriatation still develops if the cream is not applied for a day or so. Satin boxer shorts make the problem worse, so have switched to cotton briefs, but am still aware of pain present. Sex is not as enjoyable, with the condom tending to be quite painful at times.
The problem first started with a patch of skin an inch in diameter that swelled and raised by 1/2 cm, and the same patch of skin has never full healed...
Any ideas??
