Question Punched in testicles

Okay guys I am so embarressed about asking this but.....a "friend" of mine punched my 41 year old boyfriend in the nuts a few hours ago--he was in severe pain for awhile but then seemed to be okay. Now he's just laying in bed and really won't communicate with me. I am trying to comfort him but he won't let me. What can I do to make him feel better. It kills me to see him like this. Any help would be welcomed.

he'll be O.K. in a few days
(he also might be embarrassed, so he clammed up)

He should check for any swelling or bruising. Yep, he's gonna be sore and probably isn't going to want to talk about it...but he needs to make sure things are OK in that department. If the pain continues he should see a doc just to make sure all is well.

He's doing better then yesterday but still in some pain. He doesn't want me too close to him like snuggling or anything because he said he's scared I am gonna ccidentally hit him there or something which I guess I can understand. Should I have him put ice on his testicles--would that help the pain or tylenol? I'm not sure is there is bruising since he won't let me look at them and when I asked him he said crabbily "I don't know"????

Well I suspect that initially Ice (although painful!) would have helped with swelling etc. He really needs to take a look and see what is going on, any swelling or discoloration. I'm not a doc but he may need to get checked out if that is the case. I'm not surprised that he's a bit nervous about your getting too close..these things hurt like hell and it'll be a few days of tenderness I'm sure.
