Downward curved penis - Men's Health Message Board

Hi! I'm 17 and I may have a problem. You see... I have a penis (6,5 inch) which is curved about 20 degrees downward. It goes straight from the base of penis and then (at 1/3 length from the root) it makes the curve. It looks like mildly curved banana. Will the intercourse be difficult, if possible with this kind of penis? Should I go to doctor of surgery? Please tell you experiences. Thank you.

There is nothing unusual about your curvature. Many/most guys have some curvature whether it's up, down, left or right. CUrvature will not be a problem during sex unless it is severe.

that is the norm, for about 20% of the population.

This is totally normal and common, just like any other kind of curvature or shape of the penis. I'm not allowed to post websites on this board, but there is a website --- kind of a scientific, research website, it is not pornagraphic --- that has statistics and photos of all different variations of penises, both flaccid and erect. It might be good for anyone who is feeling bad about their penis to check it out --- after seeing that site, you will feel very normal! Don't worry about it & good luck!

Well isn't a 20 degrees downward curve quite severe? I mean, that is quite visible. Anyway, does this mean that won't have problems with intercourse? Nothing to worry about?
