I was in the shower about 3 days ago and noticed a small, firm lump (not rock hard and rigid like I hear cancer is) underneath my left testicle. I have had swollen lymph nodes and a bump under my penis that I feared was cancer 2 years ago, but the lump was not there and I had to take some antibiotics and it cleared up in about 3 days.
Sometimes when I check, I cannot find it, but later at night it appears again. I feel no pain in either testicle, aside from me naturally changing (im 15) and I just want to know what you all think.
There is also no visible sign of discolor and it is not visible from the outside of the testie, just when I feel for it on the inside. It is not protuding much, and feels more like those underground zits that dont come out for weeks sometimes, and arent really visible unless you stretch the skin back around them. The size is maybe smaller than a pea, and I have had no history or testicular cancer in my family, nor was I born with Kleinzhelters (sp?) or the disease where your testicles never drop.
It is interior, under the skin. I have checked this morning and I cannot find it (although Im sure it will appear later tonight as it usually does), but you know how your nuts can flip around and such, so it may just be hard to locate at the moment.
I doubt its cancer. Its probably just one of the many tubes connecting the testicles to the body. The epidydimus is often confused for a lump of concern, but its normal.
Testicular cancer is a hard bump, starting out as pea-sized, on the SURFACE of the testicle itself. Its not attached in the scrotum or anything - it would be a part of the testicle, like on the testicle, and it wouldn't move around or float around.
Thats good to hear, when you say on the surface, do you mean you can see it on the skin? I also figured out that I can ONLY find it when I get sexually aroused, then it remains until all the blood stops flowing there.
