I hope someone can help me with this on going problem. For the last TEN months I have been to several doctors about this problem. I have had all the STD tests and they came back negative. I first had a problem with a yeast infection on the shaft of my penis that lasted for about two months. After I got that cleared up the skin on my shaft (especially right under the head) is very sensitive. If I have prolonged sex it becomes red and painful. I also have this feeling of something (Inside) the shaft right behind the head. This feeling comes and goes. After a GOOD hard on, my penis feels sore, kind of an aching feeling that travels between my legs right under my ball sack. It will stay this way for a couple of days before it goes away. Some days these problems are worse than others. Somedays I feel like I am normal again....then bam here they come again. I hope that someone can help me with this....

I have had the exact experience you describe. But, it was the aftermath of acquiring genital Herpes. then, a yeast infection...now, just that redness and discomfort you describe
