Hi,

I'm uncut and I am trying to find the proper way of cleaning the penis. People suggest rinse and soap, but sometimes soap irritates me. I was wondering if there's anything else besides soap that I can use to clean my penis. I was wondering if Baby oil can help? Second problem is that my penis smells if I don't use any soap. Therefore, I have to find something other than simply water to clean it. Does soap cause infections?

Find a PH balanced skin cleanser such as Neutrogena Facial Cleanser (liquid).

A non-soap cleanser would work as well. Something like Cetaphyl. I think it is in the soap aisle at the grocery store. Though it is fragrance-free, it is an effective and gentle alternative to soap.

Sower with dawn dish detergent. It removes all of the oils.

Make sure that you use an irritant free soap, one that has no fragracnes, dyes and added chemicals. And no, it is highly unlikely that you would ever get an infection from plain old soap.
