Flatualance during lovemaking - Men's Health Message Board

I have a very serious, very embarassing problem. I fart during sex, and not just a little squeeker, I mean fart, loud and smelly. I have tried everything, beano, gasx, antacids, pepto, any number of otc products to keep me from getting into this emabarassing situation.

I havent always had this problem, but I would say in the last year, it has become problematic. I have had 5 different partners with in this year, and only one was completely turned off and never talked to me again because of it. The others were more understanding, one laughed her head off and the others pretended nothing happened. I mean come on, it is like an atomic bomb going off, how can you pretend to ignore that?

Any suggestions to help me. Do you think that this has developed into more of a psycological problem than a physical problem? Sometimes I think that may be the case. Anyway, any advice or info would be appreciated.

Do any other guys have this problem? Or am I the only one?

You should talk to your doctor or someone knowledgeable about dietary issues. You need to find out what is causing the gas. I think I would be turned off too if someone was farting up a storm during sex.

I have tried everything as far as dietary isues are concerned. I know that certain foods will cause more gas than others, and I tend to steer clear of them.

What is so bad about the situation is that if the flatulance was controllable I would have no problem. But it comes on unexpextedly and with such force.

BTW, I am not a person who is always farting, I very rarely do so, and especially not in any type of social setting.

I do have to admit, that sometimes I really let a big ripper fly and it is so darn funny, I laugh so hard some times I cry. One girl I was with laughed so hard we had to stop what we were doing until the giggles went away. I bet we laughed for 20 minutes straight!

Like I said, I haven't always been this way, just in the last year or so. My eating habits havent changed much at all in that time, and anti-flatualants like beeno don't work, even when I take more than recomended.

Any further advice is welcomed.
